1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales and services provided by The Nomad Curtains Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website and in-person consultation services across the United Kingdom.
By placing an order, you (“the Customer”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
2. Scope of Service
We design, manufacture, deliver, and install made-to-measure curtains and blinds for residential and commercial clients.
Our services include:

Free measurement visit in London;

On-site fabric selection from our full catalog;

Delivery and installation within 7 days from the date of payment (excluding the payment date);

After-sales support and maintenance covered by our 12-month warranty.
3. Ordering Process

Orders can be placed after an in-person or online consultation.

All measurements must be confirmed during the professional visit by our team.

Upon confirmation of measurements and fabric selection, you will receive an invoice via Stripe or Wise.

Orders will proceed to production only after full payment has been received and confirmed.

Once production has started, orders cannot be modified or cancelled (see Section 6).
4. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include delivery and installation within London.

Payments can be made securely via Stripe or Wise.

Production begins only after full payment is received.

We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of supplier cost changes, but confirmed and paid orders remain unaffected.
5. Delivery and Installation

Standard delivery and installation are included within London.

Delivery and installation outside London may incur an additional charge.

You must ensure that access to the installation site is clear and safe at the scheduled time.

If installation cannot proceed due to customer-caused delays (e.g., unready site, absence at appointment), an additional visit fee may apply.
6. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
All curtains, blinds, and accessories are made-to-measure and produced according to your specific dimensions, fabrics, and requirements.
Therefore:

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Returns or refunds are not available unless the product is proven defective or not as described.

In case of manufacturing or installation faults, we will repair or replace the affected item at no extra cost.
7. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty from the installation date covering:

Installation workmanship;
-
Rail and mechanism defects;
-
Stitching or fabric manufacturing faults.
This warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage, misuse, or improper cleaning;

Natural fabric wear, fading, or discoloration from sunlight exposure;

Modifications by anyone other than our approved installers.
8. Liability
We are not liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses;
-
Delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, customs, supplier delays, strikes, etc.);

Minor variations in color, texture, or appearance of fabrics due to digital display or dye lot differences.
Our total liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
9. Commercial Clients (B2B)
For interior designers, developers, and agencies:

All orders are subject to the same Terms unless a separate written contract applies.

Invoices may specify commercial pricing and trade discounts where applicable.

Payment terms for trade clients are strictly pre-payment unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR UK)
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect only essential data to process your order and deliver services.

Your data will never be shared or sold to third parties.

Payment details are processed securely through Stripe and Wise, and we do not store your card information.

11. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, text, and branding are the property of The Nomad Curtains Limited.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
